Role Overview
As a Platform Product Manager at Merge, you will play a pivotal role in executing product strategies that support our mission to transform global banking and payment systems. We seek a driven problem solver passionate about fintech product launches who can communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead API-first product initiatives ensuring smooth integration with third-party systems.
- Develop comprehensive product requirement documents featuring low-fidelity wireframes and clear success metrics.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and fellow product managers to conceive and deliver innovative products.
- Collect and prioritize input from customers and internal stakeholders to guide product requirements.
- Manage the full lifecycle of product development from initial concept through to successful market launch.
- Track product performance, leveraging feedback and analytics to refine and enhance the user experience continually.
- Serve as the customer advocate to ensure their needs inform development efforts throughout the process.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum of five years' product management experience in a B2B fintech organization focusing on API platforms.
- Strong technical proficiency to comprehend and manage API-related products.
- Comprehensive experience overseeing products from ideation to delivery.
- Proven success in launching products within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- High problem-solving aptitude with the ability to independently overcome obstacles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for collaboration across global, cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with product management tools and standard industry methodologies.
- Capability to work autonomously and assume full responsibility for assigned product features.
Desirable Qualifications
- Awareness of the international fintech domain including trends in fiat currency, cross-border payments, or cryptocurrency products.
