About the Role

NHS Highland's Payroll Team is looking for a dedicated payroll officer to join their team. The position involves managing a payroll subsection that covers pension calculations, family leave processing, out-of-cycle payments, and handling complicated pay inquiries.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring workload management facilitates meeting of weekly and monthly payroll deadlines while guaranteeing precise salary payments. This role demands high levels of accuracy, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must possess a professional payroll qualification and/or have a minimum of three years' relevant payroll experience.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Additional Information

  • Note this role does not qualify for Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visas, and NHS Highland cannot provide Certificate of Sponsorship.
  • Vacancies are for 2 posts at 36 hours per week each.
