About the Role
Cuan Mhuire Bruree in Limerick is recruiting a full-time Payroll and Accounts Officer to cover a six-month maternity leave period. This position demands proficiency with Microsoft Office, payroll, and accounting software, with Sage 50 experience considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing full payroll functions including collating timesheets, processing wages every fortnight, and ensuring all revenue compliance obligations are met.
- Producing timely and accurate financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the Board, County Council, and Health Service Executive (HSE).
- Preparing and maintaining financial and administrative documentation needed for Revenue, accreditation, and external audits.
- Keeping detailed and precise records of sales at the Garden Centre, income from residents, funding bodies, petty cash for the main house, and all income and expenses for two transition houses.
- Executing additional financial and administrative tasks as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage own initiatives.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with payroll and accounting software, preferably Sage 50.
