Role Overview
Hilton is looking for a Pastry Chef in Qatar to oversee daily pastry production and help create memorable guest experiences through high-quality baked goods and desserts. In this position, you will bring creativity, consistency, and strong hospitality standards to the pastry kitchen while supporting the wider hotel dining operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of the pastry section on a day-to-day basis, ensuring smooth production, excellent presentation, and efficient workflow.
- Prepare breads, rolls, breakfast pastries, and desserts in line with established recipes for restaurants and banquet service.
- Develop fresh pastry ideas, seasonal offerings, and menu enhancements that improve the overall dining experience.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with attention to detail and a high standard of visual appeal.
- Keep sufficient finished products available and store items correctly to preserve freshness and quality.
- Guide, coach, and supervise team members while monitoring performance and encouraging a positive working atmosphere.
- Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness requirements to protect guests and staff.
