About the Role
Minerva is currently seeking a proactive and confident Out of Hours Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding team based in District Six, Cape Town. This full-time, permanent position supports healthcare staffing operations across the UK, offering a competitive salary along with uncapped commission opportunities (details to be discussed during interview).
Primary Responsibilities
- Contact nurses and healthcare professionals to verify their availability for upcoming assignments.
- Manage bookings and shift schedules utilizing the HealthRoster system.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing healthcare workers and recruit new temporary staff.
- Engage in networking and generate referrals to expand the candidate pool effectively.
- Collaborate closely with UK recruitment teams via phone, WhatsApp, and email communications.
- Handle inbound calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently during busy Out of Hours periods.
- Meet or exceed set daily, weekly, and monthly key performance indicators (KPIs).
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A confident, proactive, and persuasive mindset.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while prioritizing a high volume of tasks.
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience in recruitment, sales, or customer service is beneficial but not required.
Working Hours
- Support UK operations with South African local working times:
- From 1 October to 31 March: 19:00 to 00:00 South Africa time.
- From 1 April to 30 September: 18:00 to 23:00 South Africa time.
