Order Taker - Room Service

About the Role

As an Order Taker in Room Service at The Luxury Collection, your role extends beyond simply taking orders. You contribute to crafting an exceptional dining experience that combines food and beverage enjoyment with memorable service. Supporting the smooth operation of food and beverage services, your responsibilities include setting tables, assisting kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, and replenishing supplies. Your efforts enhance the guest experience by ensuring seamless transactions and service.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and navigating surfaces that may be uneven, slippery, or sloped. You will manage menus by reading and verifying information visually and perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 25 pounds independently, or up to 50 pounds with assistance. Activities may also involve reaching overhead, bending, twisting, stooping, and pulling.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience is required; however, experience in food and beverage environments is preferred.
• No supervisory experience or licenses/certifications are necessary.
