Role overview
This Chicago-based role is part of Ferrara’s supply chain and customer operations function. It focuses on ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, delivered on time, and aligned with service goals. The position works closely with sales, transportation, and supply chain partners to balance customer expectations with inventory and production realities.
Because the work is highly collaborative, the role requires in-person presence for most of the week, specifically at least 3 days per week, to support direct communication, real-time issue resolution, supervision, and cross-functional teamwork.
What you will do
- Review incoming orders, identify issues, and work through customer concerns to resolution.
- Create practical, cost-aware options that support strong case fill and on-time delivery performance.
- Share order and inventory updates with Sales and Brokers so service levels can be improved.
- Handle transportation and distribution challenges independently when they arise.
- Act as the Supply Chain representative in customer collaboration meetings.
- Follow company policies and procedures consistently.
- Demonstrate Ferrara’s core values in day-to-day work.
- Take on additional duties as needed.
What you need to succeed

- Experience partnering across sales, supply chain, pricing, quality, and other functions.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a customer-facing role within the CPG industry.
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Supply Chain-related studies or Business.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,675 to $84,945.
