Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Operations / Founding Operator to join a well-funded Seed-stage startup based in Berkeley, CA. This position is ideal for someone seeking significant ownership and a path toward becoming a COO at a rapidly growing company. Although the business operates within the climate infrastructure and robotics space, prior expertise in robotics or hardware is not required. Instead, the key attributes are ambition, strong drive, and experience working within fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's operational infrastructure and systems.
• Translate founder priorities into clear and actionable execution plans.
• Own company-wide planning, metrics tracking, reporting, and operational rhythm.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning product, engineering, commercial, and operations teams.
• Establish and enhance internal processes ahead of scaling phases.
• Support recruitment efforts, fundraising activities, investor communications, and board meeting preparations.
• Champion structure, agility, and accountability across the organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Currently engaged in high-growth startups either in Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, Founder’s Office/Chief of Staff, Product Operations, Product Strategy, Special Projects, or Product/Growth roles.
• Highly analytical, well-organized, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
• Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-moving startup environments.
