Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise within the retail sector. This role involves accurately picking, packing, and preparing online orders while ensuring exceptional quality standards and adhering to strict safety and food hygiene protocols to foster customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully pick and assemble customer orders from various temperature zones, ensuring on-time delivery through attention to quality.
• Pack products accurately by distinguishing similar items, verifying exact quantities and correct product codes.
• Maintain product quality by selecting undamaged, fresh items for packing.
• Properly document and label all orders by correctly interpreting pick slips, packing instructions, and shipping labels.
• Efficiently fill totes to optimize space without compromising product quality.
• Provide customer service during fulfillment, addressing concerns and resolving issues as they arise.
• Strictly comply with safety and food hygiene standards, including maintaining a tidy workspace, promptly cleaning spills, and ensuring totes are clean before use.
• Operate material handling equipment responsibly, completing safety pre-use checks.
• Support the organization's mission and values through exemplary behaviors.
• Actively suggest improvements in operational processes, productivity standards, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Adapt flexibly to changing assignments based on customer demands and delivery schedules.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $15.50.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
