Position Overview
Joining Walmart Canada as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate offers a valuable chance to develop skills in a high-speed retail environment. This role focuses on picking, packing, and preparing online orders with great attention to precision, product quality, and customer satisfaction, all while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and assemble customer orders from multiple temperature zones to ensure timely delivery.
- Carefully pack orders verifying product selection, quantities, and correct product codes.
- Maintain product quality by selecting fresh items and removing any damaged goods.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and labelling, including pick slips and shipping labels.
- Pack items efficiently to optimize space usage while preserving product safety and quality.
- Support customer interactions positively, balancing operational duties with service assistance and resolving issues when necessary.
- Follow strict safety, hygiene, and quality protocols, maintaining cleanliness, promptly addressing spills, and ensuring totes are clean.
- Operate equipment safely and carry out all required safety checks.
- Demonstrate flexibility with shift schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.
- Contribute suggestions to enhance processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Challenges in This Role
- Managing high volumes of tasks in a swift-paced environment efficiently, including overnight shifts.
- Maintaining energy and focus through effective planning and time management.
- Performing physically demanding activities such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Engaging in repetitive tasks like stocking, zoning, and organizing products consistently to uphold store standards.

Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $15.50.
