Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and assemble customer orders from various temperature zones to support timely delivery.
• Carefully pack items by verifying selections, quantities, and product codes.
• Select only fresh, high-quality products and remove any damaged or unsuitable items.
• Complete all necessary documentation and labeling precisely, including pick slips and shipping labels.
• Optimize tote packing to efficiently use space without compromising product quality or safety.
• Balance order fulfillment duties with positive customer engagements and assist in resolving inquiries or issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures, promptly cleaning spills, and ensuring totes are sanitized before use.
• Operate equipment safely and perform required safety checks regularly.
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling by being willing to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, increase productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Work Environment Challenges

• Effectively manage high task volumes in a fast-paced setting, particularly during overnight shifts, by planning to maintain energy and focus.
• Handle physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive tasks like stocking and organizing products with consistent attention to detail to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $15.50.
