Job Overview

This role supports the Principal of an elementary school (grades K-5) by managing key administrative tasks including correspondence, calendar coordination, and school-wide communications.

Key Duties

  • Provide secretarial support to the Principal by preparing communications for approval and signature.
  • Manage and coordinate the Principal’s schedule as well as school-wide calendars.
  • Organize and relay district-level information such as bulletins, meetings, and deadlines to the Principal.

  • Use attendance reports to track daily staff attendance and reconcile records on monthly, bi-weekly, and supplementary bases.
  • Manage supplemental pay processes, including creating activity codes, reviewing pay reports, reconciling timecards, and maintaining documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with supplemental pay policies for all campus personnel.
  • Use budgeting reports to monitor and adjust account line items appropriately.
  • Maintain and manage budgets to ensure funding sufficiency and alignment with the Campus Action Plan.
  • Handle requisition and reconciliation processes: generate requisitions, verify funding, maintain support documents, receive materials/services, and monitor payments.
