Role Overview
The role focuses on administration and troubleshooting of Office365 and Microsoft Exchange environments, specifically within messaging infrastructure. Candidates should have strong technical expertise and experience managing these platforms, including migration and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot On-premises Exchange Server (2016) environment.
- Plan, administer, and support Office 365 environments and users.
- Conduct periodic maintenance and patching activities as necessary.
- Provide support for Office 365 users and liaise with Microsoft support when required.
- Ensure logging of all activities and tasks within the ticketing and intranet systems.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 6 years of practical experience with messaging infrastructure technologies.
- Proficiency with Windows Server Administration (2016) and Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365 migration processes (both Cutover and Staged).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for MS Teams and Outlook issues.
- Knowledge of Office 365 licensing management.
- Familiarity with Trustwave Secure Email Gateway (SEG).
- Understanding of modern operating systems and server platforms.
- Awareness of network, network security systems, database management, and data backup.
- Experience with Exchange Management Shell and PowerShell Online scripting.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Desirable Skills
- Ability to assess stability, security, and scalability of Exchange and Office 365 environments.
- Skill in troubleshooting system and server errors and reviewing error logs.
- Familiarity with CyberArk and ServiceNow platforms.
