Role and Responsibilities
- Configure, oversee, and troubleshoot SD-WAN networks ensuring smooth operation.
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructures.
- Operate and manage Fortinet devices, particularly FortiGate firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and handle incident resolution within specified SLAs.
- Set up and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote access VPN connections.
- Manage firewall policies, NAT setups, and implement security rules.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for network-related technical issues.
- Handle network changes, upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with customers, ISPs, and vendors to solve network challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including network diagrams and configuration backups.
- Ensure adherence to organizational security standards and best practices.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Preferred candidates located in Virar/Vasai.
- Minimum of six months experience in network support or managed network services.
- Practical experience in SD-WAN deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP protocols, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
- Hands-on expertise managing Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including security policies, NAT, IPS, SSL VPN, and IPsec VPN.
- Preference for candidates with exposure to Managed Service Providers (MSP) or Network Operations Center (NOC) environments.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of processes related to incident, change, and problem management.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
Salary and Other Details
This position offers a yearly remuneration in the range of 200000 to 250000 INR.
