Role Overview

We are seeking experienced native English (Australian) editors to join our team remotely for several upcoming large-scale projects focused on Civil Engineering, Smart Technology/Internet of Things (IoT), and Cybersecurity domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit specialized content concerning Civil Engineering, Smart Tech/IoT, and Cybersecurity topics, including urban planning, structural blueprints, municipal infrastructure, digital twins (e.g., Microsoft Azure), Industrial IoT (IIoT), cyber-physical systems, operational technology security, infrastructure vulnerabilities, and network/cybersecurity frameworks.
• For content writing tasks: review task briefings and ensure readability by evaluating clarity, style, and proper citations; identify and correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting errors.
• For translation tasks: compare translated texts with source files to verify quality and accuracy.
• Provide constructive feedback to project managers if the content does not meet requirements, without rewriting entire texts, to prepare content for delivery aligned with outlined standards.
• Maintain communication with project managers who offer guidelines and support during the editing process.

Candidate Requirements

• Native English speaker with Australian dialect.
• Proven experience editing Civil Engineering, Smart Tech/IoT, or Cybersecurity related content, supported by work samples.
• Exceptional writing proficiency with zero tolerance for errors or poor quality.
• Strong commitment to meeting strict deadlines.
• Ability to work methodically and adhere closely to instructions.
