MUMPS Developer for RPMS Data Integration

About the Role

EHR EVOLUTION INC. is looking for an experienced MUMPS Developer skilled in extracting data from the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS) database into SQL. This is a long-term, fully remote position based in Indiana, United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MUMPS code for RPMS data extraction and integration.
• Design and execute ETL processes focused on healthcare data systems.
• Ensure data transformation aligns with healthcare standards such as HL7, ICD, and CPT.
• Manage, optimize, and model databases within MUMPS-based environments.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver project goals.

Required Qualifications

• Solid expertise in MUMPS programming and familiarity with RPMS.
• Proven track record in creating ETL workflows specifically for healthcare data.
• Understanding of healthcare data standards including HL7, ICD, and CPT coding.
• Experience in database management and optimization within MUMPS settings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities related to data integration.
• Effective communication skills for teamwork and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in federal or tribal healthcare sectors.
• Knowledge of comparable healthcare IT systems such as VistA or other EHR platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and additional tools that support data management and ETL.
• Comfort working in Linux/Unix operating environments.
• Experience with agile software development practices.
