Role Overview

The Merchandise Manager position, located onsite in Mildura, Victoria, involves overseeing the product assortment and merchandising strategy for all showrooms. Responsibilities include selecting suitable items, managing pricing strategies, and ensuring product displays align with both customer needs and company goals.

Key Duties

  • Analyze sales performance data and customer feedback to guide merchandise decisions.
  • Coordinate with vendors to plan, price, and replenish stock efficiently.
  • Develop and execute merchandising plans that optimize product presentation across showrooms.
  • Collaborate with showroom personnel to enhance display strategies and support promotional activities.
  • Maintain accuracy in product information, pricing, and inventory data.
  • Monitor stock levels to guarantee product availability and timely restocking.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align merchandise choices with the Group's mission and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in merchandise management, buying, or retail product coordination, ideally in healthcare or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer preferences.
  • Skilled in inventory control, pricing strategy, product lifecycle management, and supplier relations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to cooperate with cross-functional teams including showroom, operations, and management.
  • Superior organizational skills with keen attention to detail for managing multiple product lines and projects.
  • Proficient in retail management systems, ERP software, spreadsheets, and digital tools for product data handling and reporting.
  • A customer-centric approach, understanding the importance of customizing products and services to meet diverse client needs, including NDIS participants.
  • A relevant academic background in business, retail management, merchandising, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
