Role Summary

The Master Scheduler is tasked with creating and sustaining a constrained Master Production Schedule (cMPS) that aligns site manufacturing capacity with the network's needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) sessions to identify and implement improvements.
  • Own and manage the Site Latest Estimate (LE) process, aligning it with the Net Requirements Plan (NRP).
  • Collaborate with international teams to detect and alleviate capacity constraints throughout the supply network.
  • Utilize advanced planning systems, like SAP/APO, and offline tools for scenario modeling and predictive analytics.
  • Partner with data analytics teams to create KPI dashboards and incorporate AI/ML forecasting methods.
  • Drive ongoing process improvements and digital transformation projects in planning operations.
  • Formulate risk mitigation and growth strategies to handle supply disruptions and capacity issues.
  • Ensure adherence to global regulations concerning Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Financial, and trade compliance standards.
  • Communicate operational challenges and opportunities promptly to management.
  • Manage production frozen period horizons, scheduling, rescheduling, and inventory related to outsourced and rework processes.
  • Oversee finished goods acceleration processes and maintain projections post-Latest Estimate.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at reducing lead times and enhancing global supply chain efficiency.
  • Contribute to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) forums by providing insights on risks and potential improvements.
  • Engage with executive leadership including Directors and VPs to influence decisions through clear communications.
  • Serve as a pivotal contact among customers, peers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain planning or scheduling within a global manufacturing context.
  • Proficient with ERP platforms, especially SAP/APO/SNP and advanced planning tools.
  • Strong capabilities in data analytics and reporting, particularly with predictive modeling techniques.

Preferred Credentials

  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is required.
