Role summary
This is a full-time, on-site Marketing Officer position based in Leicester. The role supports the branch network, works alongside the Marketing Manager, and contributes to broader business objectives. It suits someone who is creative, well organised, and comfortable producing marketing material for both digital and print channels, with strong emphasis on efficient WordPress use. A positive outlook and a practical, solution-focused approach are important for success in this role.
What you will do
In this role, you will handle a mix of day-to-day marketing activity, including support desk requests, improving the website, creating content, and spotting ways to enhance the company’s position in the market.
Skills and experience
- Strong hands-on WordPress capability, including front-end updates, plugin administration, and content management.
- Ability to operate as a marketing professional rather than as a standalone web or IT resource.
- Proficiency in Canva to help deliver work effectively in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Collaborative mindset suited to working within an established in-house marketing team.
- Excellent written and spoken communication for coordination with internal colleagues, suppliers, and customers, as well as for developing clear marketing material.
- Experience in HVAC, trade, or wholesale environments is helpful, though not mandatory.
Working details
The role follows a Monday to Friday, full-time schedule and is based on-site in Leicester. The salary is dependent on experience, and a year-end bonus is included. Holiday entitlement is 24 days plus bank holidays, with the option to buy additional leave.
