Role Overview
The Marketing Analyst, reporting to the Marketing Manager, will play a critical role in analyzing sales and market data, managing product inventories and lifecycles, collaborating with the creative services team on packaging development, and overseeing budget tracking and project timelines. This position follows a hybrid working model with a requirement to be onsite three days a week at the Mississauga office.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze internal and syndicated market data to identify trends and support business growth strategies.
- Utilize various databases and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions and recommendations.
- Assist with managing and tracking the marketing budget, including invoicing processes.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses such as brand portfolio performance, consumer trends, category dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Lead product adoption and setup within the company ERP system, participate in planning meetings with international teams, and manage assigned workfront tasks.
- Oversee monitoring of shipments, point-of-sale, and inventory metrics, providing recommendations and monthly tracking to meet financial and inventory goals.
- Assist in weekly production and shipment meetings to ensure timely availability in distribution centers.
- Support development calendar adherence, coordinating with Supply Chain and Product Development teams.
- Manage product lifecycles and work with planning teams to maintain target inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of local market needs and marketing campaigns across online and brick-and-mortar channels.
- Manage procurement of image assets for business initiatives and ensure compliance with retailer guidelines.
- Prepare pricing documentation and manage sample orders, maintaining up-to-date program reference materials.
- Support Marketing Manager in flawless brand and product execution both in-store and online.
- Maintain packaging reference materials for all product categories.
- Monitor online and physical retail outlets to integrate findings into marketing strategies.
- Create and maintain documentation such as new product information forms and product sell sheets.
- Contribute to various ad hoc projects as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in product management, brand management, retail, analytics, or direct-to-consumer sectors.
- Experience within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or apparel industries preferred.
- Proficient in new product development and data analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools is a strong asset.
- Able to work collaboratively across diverse and global teams.
- Highly organized with a strong desire to learn and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with excellent follow-through skills.
- Ability to adapt to new software technologies as they evolve.
- Knowledge of SAP and PLM software considered an advantage.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
- Outcome-oriented with adaptability to changing environments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a plus.
Compensation
The salary for this role ranges between 51275 and 60000 CAD annually.
