Job Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive production and product development enhancements by optimizing manufacturing workflows and processes. In this capacity, you will focus on boosting efficiency, quality, and overall productivity across manufacturing operations by implementing innovative solutions and fostering continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and oversee work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and technological process standards.
- Plan and manage manufacturing and engineering projects, ensuring balance between timelines, costs, and quality.
- Design and refine cost-efficient manufacturing technologies and production techniques.
- Analyze and enhance current production systems to elevate efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Select and integrate manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and supportive production aids.
- Engage collaboratively with global manufacturing teams and cross-functional departments including quality, maintenance, logistics, and product development.
- Facilitate introduction and ramp-up of new products, manufacturing processes, and production lines while managing related changes.
- Provide technical training and guidance to production staff and communicate project updates and results to stakeholders.
- Leverage manufacturing data, ERP, MES, and digital technologies to promote operational excellence and continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- Work experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production engineering within serial production environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes such as assembly, machining, testing, and automation.
- Applied knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods and continuous improvement techniques including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and waste elimination.
- Familiarity with industrial engineering practices like process optimization, line balancing, capacity planning, and standardization efforts.
- Proficiency in quality assurance tools and problem-solving methods such as FMEA, Control Plans, 8D, Ishikawa diagrams, and 5 Why analyses.
- Project management experience especially related to new product and process industrialization.
- Practical knowledge of ERP, MES, manufacturing management systems, and production data analytics.
- Strong skills in communication, teamwork, and analytical thinking.
- Fluency in both English and German languages.
Preferred Attributes
- Advanced engineering degree or equivalent technical education.
- Additional certifications or specialized training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality Management, Automation, or Project Management.
- Prior involvement with global manufacturing operations.
- Experience implementing automation, digital manufacturing innovations, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Effective presentation skills and proven ability in stakeholder engagement.
