A niche SME manufacturing company based in Bristol, UK, specializing in bespoke engineered products for global clients, seeks a Managing Director to lead its Bristol operations. The successful candidate will be a hands-on professional, driving business growth, strategy, and culture development.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Provide leadership as an experienced Managing Director or senior Operations leader within SME engineering manufacturing firms.
- Take charge of steering the business forward, focusing on growth and operational excellence.
- Manage profit and loss responsibilities within an SME manufacturing context.
- Lead the development of company strategy, nurture positive company culture, and improve processes and procedures.
- Apply an engineering background gained through formal qualifications prior to starting professional experience, which is preferred.
