Role Overview
As the Manager of Portfolio Management for Delivery Companies, you will play a key role in advancing the strategic and operational growth of METRO’s international Food Service Distribution business. This position involves translating strategy into actionable initiatives, analyzing company metrics, and supporting investment decisions, while fostering knowledge sharing and integration processes across various teams and regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement strategic priorities by creating and driving well-defined workstreams.
- Evaluate company performance through detailed analysis to guide business reviews.
- Develop financial models and business cases to support investment evaluations.
- Promote best practice exchange among functions and across geographic locations.
- Identify synergies within the portfolio and contribute to mergers and acquisitions due diligence.
- Coordinate post-merger integration activities and monitor their execution.
- Lead digital transformation efforts by enhancing workflows, tools, and reporting systems.
- Align stakeholders by managing communications between central departments and local entities.
- Prepare comprehensive project status updates and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in strategy, corporate development, consulting, or finance.
- University degree from a top institution in Business, Economics, Finance, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and analyzing financial statements.
- Experience working in cross-functional, international settings involving multiple stakeholders.
- Highly organized, proactive, and adept in interpersonal communication and presentation.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with AI tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the foodservice sector is beneficial.
