Position Overview
The Manager of Deposit and Investment Products is accountable for overseeing and advancing deposit and investment offerings throughout the Caribbean region. This role ensures products perform optimally, remain profitable, adhere to regulatory standards, and align with the bank’s strategic aims. The manager leads product initiatives, keeps track of competitive and market trends, and collaborates with various teams to develop innovative client-focused solutions that fuel business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement strategic initiatives involving product improvements, pricing models, value proposition strategies, and launching new products.
- Track product performance and key metrics to detect chances for growth, identify risks, and apply corrective measures to boost results and enhance customer experiences.
- Oversee and refine the portfolio of deposit and investment products to meet business goals, satisfy client requirements, and achieve profitability targets.
- Conduct thorough analyses of market conditions, competitors, and customer behavior to guide product positioning and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, distribution channels, and important stakeholders to guarantee successful deployment and adoption of product initiatives.
- Lead pricing evaluations and profitability efforts, proposing fee changes and recommendations to improve competitiveness, revenue, and portfolio results.
- Guarantee compliance of all product initiatives with regulatory guidelines, company policies, and risk management practices.
- Promote continuous improvement through market intelligence, sharing of best practices, and identifying innovation opportunities within product offerings.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, banking, finance, economics, marketing, management studies, or a related area is required.
- An MBA or postgraduate degree in business, finance, marketing, or a similar field is advantageous.
- At least five years of experience in banking, financial services, product management, product development, marketing, or a related domain.
- Demonstrated background managing retail banking deposit, investment, or similar products.
- Proven capability in data analysis, performance reporting, and converting insights into strategic actions.
- Fluent English communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong skills in project and change management, with experience leading cross-functional projects.
