Role Summary
This full-time Management Consultant position is based in Toronto, Ontario, and follows a hybrid working arrangement that combines client-site presence with work-from-home flexibility. In this role, you will review client businesses, evaluate existing strategies and operating processes, and surface opportunities for improvement and change.
Core work includes collecting and analyzing data, building presentations and reports, leading workshops and meetings, and helping shape and roll out new processes and solutions. You will also work closely with client stakeholders and internal colleagues, keep projects on schedule and within scope, and contribute to strategic recommendations that create measurable business value. The position also calls for maintaining strong professional relationships and helping improve the firm’s consulting methods and tools over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess client organizations to understand current strategy, operating model, and performance gaps.
- Gather, organize, and interpret both quantitative and qualitative information to generate actionable insights.
- Prepare clear presentations, reports, and other client-facing materials.
- Facilitate workshops, discussions, and working sessions with stakeholders.
- Support the design, documentation, and implementation of improved business processes and solutions.
- Collaborate with client teams and internal teammates to advance project work.
- Track deliverables, priorities, and timelines to support effective project execution.
- Contribute to recommendations that improve business performance and support transformation initiatives.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Help refine consulting approaches, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical capability, including the ability to work with complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Background in management consulting or related consulting work, especially in strategy, transformation, or operational improvement.
- Understanding of finance concepts and how recommendations affect financial performance and business outcomes.
- Experience analyzing, mapping, and improving business processes, including workflow documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to varied audiences.
- Ability to manage several priorities at once and work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or another related discipline; advanced education or credentials such as an MBA, CFA, or PMP are considered advantageous.
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; exposure to data visualization or analytical platforms is a plus.
