Role Overview
The Department of Education and Training is seeking a Maintenance Officer for Yirrkala School located in the East Arnhem Region. Reporting directly to the Principal, this role involves performing maintenance duties to ensure the school premises and facilities are kept in functional, tidy, and orderly condition. Compliance with departmental policies, school guidelines, and Occupational Health and Safety standards is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain buildings and grounds of Yirrkala School to a high standard of functionality and neatness.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant school and Department of Education policies.
- Adhere strictly to Occupational Health and Safety regulations during maintenance work.
