Schedule and Shifts

The available schedule includes day and evening shifts with options from early morning 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, as well as evening hours from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a maximum of 32 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as trash removal, dusting, restroom and break room cleaning, office and conference room tidiness, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window washing, and other assigned duties.
• Adhere to client-specific cleaning requirements as outlined in the List of Specifications for each location.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and work quality.
• Sign in and out according to scheduled working hours and maintain Porter Logs consistently.

Physical Demands

• Operate effectively in a fast-paced work environment requiring robust physical and mental health.
• Capable of bending, turning, stooping, standing, reaching at various heights, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds for durations ranging from 3 to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to walk large floor areas and perform repetitive manual activities daily.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues.
• Team-oriented, detail-focused, self-driven, and able to operate independently as well as follow instructions.
• WHMIS certification is required; training is provided by Scandinavian Building Services.
