Licensed Immigration Adviser

Role Summary

VisaExperts NZ Limited is looking to expand its team by hiring Licensed Immigration Advisers. Candidates should possess a robust knowledge of New Zealand immigration legislation along with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to prioritizing client needs.

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver precise immigration advice aligned with the New Zealand Immigration Advisers Code of Conduct and relevant statutory requirements.
• Prepare, lodge, and oversee visa applications such as work visas, student visas, partnership visas, and residency requests.
• Maintain communication channels with clients, Immigration New Zealand, and associated parties to facilitate application processes.
• Ensure thorough maintenance of case records and supporting documentation.
• Keep current with legislative changes, policy amendments, and procedural updates from Immigration New Zealand.
• Collaborate effectively within a team of fellow advisers and administrative personnel.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid Immigration Adviser Authority issued by the Immigration Advisers Authority or practice experience as an immigration lawyer.
• Preferably, at least one to two years of demonstrated experience providing immigration advice in New Zealand.
• Strong written and oral communication capabilities.
• High attention to detail coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to efficiently juggle numerous clients and immigration cases simultaneously.
• Competency with Microsoft Office suite and CRM software, with familiarity in systems such as Ezymigrate, Bitrix24, or Zoho CRM considered advantageous.

Desirable Skills

• Experience handling partnership and employer-assisted visa cases.
• Multilingual ability, such as fluency in Hindi, Punjabi, Mandarin, or other languages, regarded as an asset.
• Cultural sensitivity and empathy when engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
