About the Role
WorkInjuryRights.com is a reputable legal firm committed to providing exceptional support and representation in Workers’ Compensation matters. We are actively seeking a skilled bilingual Legal Assistant fluent in English and Spanish to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver thorough administrative assistance to attorneys focusing on workers’ compensation cases.
- Organize and maintain case files, legal documentation, and official communications.
- Serve as the main contact for clients, respond to their questions, and update them about their case progress.
- Help clients complete required paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Manage attorneys' calendars by scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, and medical assessments.
- Ensure all deadlines are adhered to and coordinate court appearances efficiently.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess 2 to 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, ideally with exposure to workers’ compensation law.
- Associate degree in legal studies or related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant professional experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with the processes, regulations, and terminology specific to workers’ compensation is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and legal case management software.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish to facilitate effective communication.
Work Details and Benefits
- Position is full-time with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week.
- Standard work schedule includes 8-hour shifts.
- Salary will align with candidate’s experience level.
