Role overview
Hotel du Vin Poole is hiring Kitchen Porters for an immediate start. This is a fixed-term position running until 1 October 2026. The role sits within a busy hotel kitchen and supports the team with cleanliness, washing and general back-of-house upkeep.
What the job involves
You will help keep the kitchen and staff areas clean and organised, while supporting the kitchen brigade by maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the day. A major part of the role is handling pot and plate washing areas efficiently and reliably.
This position is physically active and can be demanding, but it offers a strong introduction to how a professional kitchen operates from the ground up. It may also serve as a stepping stone toward a Chef career.
Development and progression
The employer encourages internal growth and progression, and dedicated team members may be offered apprenticeship opportunities to build a long-term hospitality career.
Pay and employment terms
Pay is £12.80 per hour plus TRONC. The role is offered on a fixed-term contract ending on 1 October 2026, and an immediate start is available.
