About the Role
Digital United is seeking an inquisitive and motivated Junior Designer to join their creative team. This entry-level position offers the chance to work on a wide variety of client projects, spanning digital experiences, branding, marketing campaigns, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate loves design, pays great attention to detail, and is excited about learning through hands-on collaboration.
The Junior Designer will partner closely with strategists, fellow designers, writers, developers, and creative leaders to produce visually engaging and purpose-driven creative work. Responsibilities include supporting digital campaigns, social media content, website launches, brand systems, and marketing efforts, helping translate concepts into polished deliverables.
Beyond executing design production, the role emphasizes problem-solving through design, contributing fresh ideas, responding positively to feedback, and adopting innovative technologies such as AI-assisted creative tools. Some onsite client or team collaboration may be required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
- Address client business challenges by delivering thoughtful, visually engaging, and strategic design solutions.
- Bring new creative ideas and concepts to strengthen brands, campaigns, and user experiences.
- Apply design fundamentals with exceptional attention to craft, consistency, and detail.
- Understand the impact of design on user behavior and business goals, balancing creativity with effectiveness.
- Clearly articulate design rationale and confidently present decisions aligned with project objectives.
- Stay updated on design trends, AI-driven creative tools, and new technologies to push creative outcomes forward.
- Create and produce high-quality design assets across multiple digital platforms, campaigns, branding, social media, emails, presentations, and print.
- Convert concepts into production-ready files, ensuring fidelity and adherence to brand standards.
- Adapt and optimize assets for diverse channels and technical requirements.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including strategists, copywriters, developers, media planners, and project managers to deliver outstanding client work.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Experiment with AI tools for tasks such as layout variations, asset resizing, and image exploration to enhance productivity and quality.
- Identify opportunities for automation in repetitive production tasks through AI applications.
- Adopt responsible AI practices, maintaining brand integrity and ensuring human oversight in AI-generated content.
Qualifications
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in graphic, visual, or production design.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving abilities and production-ready design work.
- Solid grasp of core design principles: typography, composition, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while managing deadlines.
- Comfortable working within established brand guidelines and design systems.
- Willingness and ability to learn new creative software and AI-driven tools.
- Preferred candidates may have experience with motion graphics or animation tools such as After Effects.
- Knowledge of asset preparation for web, social media, email, print, and presentations.
- Exposure to accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
- Experience working in agencies or in-house creative teams.
- Familiarity with AI and generative platforms like Claude Design, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Canva, or similar.
- Understanding of creative production workflows, file management, and asset organization.
- Experience collaborating with developers, marketers, and project managers.
- CPACC certification is a plus but not mandatory.

- Competitive salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
