Position Overview

This role supports the Business Analyst in delivering and maintaining business solutions and transformation initiatives, focusing on gathering and documenting business requirements as well as designing solutions that align with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying, capturing, and documenting business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to analyze and document both business and system needs.
  • Engage with business users to understand current processes and spot potential areas for system optimization.
  • Develop documentation such as functional/non-functional requirements, business flows, use cases, and user stories.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for development teams.
  • Participate in evaluating proposed changes for business and system alignment with objectives.
  • Contribute to solution design discussions and assist in documenting proposals.
  • Facilitate communication across business users, project teams, vendors, and ICT stakeholders.
  • Support preparation and running of User Acceptance Testing by developing scenarios, test cases, and documenting outcomes.
  • Assist in defect management during system testing phases.
  • Help in deployment activities including user readiness and system rollouts.
  • Prepare manuals, standard operating procedures, and other technical documentation.
  • Provide user training for new or updated systems and processes.
  • Offer first-level support for business systems by logging, analyzing, and ensuring follow-up on user issues and enhancement requests.
  • Monitor support tickets and escalate complex concerns to senior analysts or technical teams.
  • Track system performance and collect user feedback to promote continuous system enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, including AML, KYC, Sanctions compliance, and data quality, escalating relevant issues appropriately.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving business efficiency through technological enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, traceability matrices, and status updates.
  • Contribute to project activities ensuring solutions are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, and quality requirements.
  • Develop ongoing expertise in business processes, ICT solutions, methodologies, and industry standards.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Responsibilities

The role involves enforcing and promoting compliance with AML, Sanctions, and related policies. This includes executing customer due diligence, maintaining compliance with KYC standards, conducting ongoing due diligence, ensuring data integrity, and escalating potential compliance breaches or suspicious activities to the Risk and Compliance Office.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certification in at least one application development domain.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in business analysis or software development.
  • Working knowledge of database systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Skills and Competencies

  • Graduate in information systems or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in business systems project assignments.
  • Solid grasp of business and system analysis principles.
  • Understanding of application programming, database, and system design.
  • Knowledge of Internet, Intranet, Extranet, and client/server system architectures.
