Job Overview

Join Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG as an IT System Administrator and be instrumental in maintaining and advancing the company's server and network infrastructure. You will ensure smooth daily IT operations, monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide bilingual IT support in German and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Share responsibility with the team for ongoing development and management of server and network infrastructure.
• Ensure reliable execution of daily IT processes and operational workflows.
• Monitor system health, analyze issues, and resolve malfunctions promptly.
• Install, maintain, and update computer hardware and software.
• Serve as a contact person within the bilingual IT support team for IT-related inquiries.
• Develop and independently manage IT projects.
• Document IT procedures and workflows thoroughly.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Strong passion for IT and completed vocational training in IT, such as specialist in system integration or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient knowledge of popular Windows operating systems for both server and client.
• Confident experience working with Microsoft Cloud technologies, including Azure, Intune, and Office 365.
• Deep understanding of network infrastructure components such as routing and switching, WLAN, VPN, and firewall management.
• High degree of initiative and personal responsibility.
• Structured, independent, and collaborative work style.
• Willingness to participate in flexible 24/7 on-call duty on a weekly rotation basis, including remote work after hours and on weekends.
• Fluent communication skills in German and English, both spoken and written.
