International Assignment Consultant

Job Overview

The International Assignment Consultant (IAC) acts as the primary coordinator and guide throughout the international relocation journey for assignees. The role entails managing relocation policies and programs, advising on optimal use of resources such as language and cultural training, organizing household goods shipments, destination services, and expense management.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact overseeing all stages of international relocation per client agreements, delivering excellent service to assignees and their families.
• Provide Cartus' core offerings including consulting, cross-cultural support, language services, and moving coordination adhering to company standards.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of company products and services in client and customer engagements.
• Gather and coordinate internal data to ensure timely and accurate client reporting.
• Research country-specific information to support client policy and compensation program development.
• Maintain and develop relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to meet and exceed client expectations.
• Engage in special projects such as client presentations, training sessions, and industry conferences.
• Comply with corporate policies and standards throughout all activities.
• Promote Cartus and partner services to enhance revenue streams.
• Identify and act on opportunities to cross-sell additional company products and services.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
• Between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in customer service, call centers, relocation services, destination services, immigration, moving logistics, real estate, HR outsourcing (specifically expatriate payroll), hospitality, or global industry environments.
• Bilingual capabilities and/or past expatriate experience are advantageous.
