Job Overview
Join ASE Global as an Industrial Engineer at our Singapore location, working full-time onsite. This role involves optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and supporting production targets through analytical and coordination efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed time studies to establish exact standards for machine throughput and cycle durations.
- Leverage data analytics tools to assess production loads accurately and allocate resources effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Operations and Engineering departments to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Lead initiatives to plan, analyze, and implement reconfiguration projects aimed at optimizing tester equipment usage.
- Oversee the management of testers and associated hardware/software including coordination of equipment transfers to align with corporate objectives.
- Maintain a reliable inventory of spare parts, ensuring they are available and prepared to meet production demands.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exhibit strong analytical abilities, comfortable with numeric data and informed decision-making.
- Display excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Adaptable to dynamic work environments, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Work well independently and collaboratively, showing initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a positive demeanor, embrace growth opportunities, and show enthusiasm for learning new competencies.
- Previous exposure to manufacturing or production settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
