Role Overview
The Incident Manager position is a full-time, on-site role located in Jamnagar. The primary responsibility is to manage the entire incident lifecycle, ensuring prompt responses and minimizing disruptions to construction and operational workflows. Daily duties include monitoring incident logs, evaluating severity levels, allocating and following up on corrective actions, and communicating progress to relevant stakeholders. The role demands close partnership with technical support teams, site supervisors, and management to carry out root cause analyses, implement preventive measures, and enhance incident management processes continuously. Additionally, the role involves meticulous documentation, incident report preparation, and contributing to the ongoing refinement of incident handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in incident management and responsive handling of urgent operational challenges.
- Competency in problem management with skills in root cause identification and execution of sustainable corrective actions.
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate incident patterns, assess risks, and enable data-informed decisions.
- Prior experience in technical support or coordination within construction, infrastructure, or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly presenting technical details to various stakeholders.
- Organizational proficiency to maintain accurate incident records and generate effective reports.
- Capability to work on-site in Jamnagar, manage multiple incidents concurrently, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Educational background preferably includes a diploma or degree in engineering, construction management, IT, or a related discipline.
