Overview
An expanding organisation located in Waterford is seeking a versatile HR Generalist to join their collaborative HR team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, focusing especially on recruitment, employee assistance, and daily HR operations.
Key Duties
- Oversee the complete recruitment process—from approving vacancies and advertising roles to coordinating interviews, managing candidate selection, and handling job offers.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and provide expert guidance throughout the hiring cycle.
- Establish and sustain effective candidate pipelines through diverse sourcing strategies.
- Organise onboarding procedures to ensure new hires have a smooth and engaging introduction to the company.
- Deliver ongoing HR support and advice to both employees and management.
- Assist in maintaining HR systems and up-to-date employee records accurately.
- Help implement HR policies and communicate these effectively throughout the organisation.
- Contribute to employee engagement activities and various HR-related projects.
- Prepare necessary HR reports while guaranteeing confidentiality of employee information.
- Ensure all HR practices conform with company standards and employment laws.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant academic qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a general HR role, with significant exposure to recruitment processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage or support the entire recruitment lifecycle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational capabilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive, friendly, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail and discretion when managing confidential data.
- Sound understanding of HR procedures and employment legislation.
