About the Role
The HR Assistant position offers essential administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the HR department. You will collaborate closely with the HR team to support studio-wide HR activities in a role that demands great attention to detail. This is a fixed-term contract lasting 12 months. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the UK as sponsorship is not available.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures and manage various HR communications, such as contract renewals, probation confirmations, employment references, and modifications to terms and conditions.
- Update and maintain HR information systems to keep employee data current during onboarding, job changes, and exit processes.
- Keep HR databases and tracking spreadsheets accurate, coordinating with Global HR Operations as necessary, including tools like SAP and managing reports on starters and leavers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a CIPD qualification or a strong interest in pursuing one.
- Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities, able to manage high workloads and shifting priorities efficiently.
- Meticulous attention to detail and capacity to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in HR administration or a related role within a global, matrixed organization is desirable.
Technical Proficiencies
- Familiarity with Google applications like Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, and Forms is advantageous.
- Experience using Mac platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of HR systems such as SAP and Workday would be beneficial.
Work Setup
This position is hybrid, requiring two days per week onsite at a company location, with flexibility to occasionally work from home.
