Position Overview

The Houseperson supports supervisors and housekeepers by ensuring the cleanliness and timely preparation of guest units while upholding company values and standards. This role is crucial in maintaining high service quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Stock and keep storage closets neat and orderly.
• Assist in stripping soiled linens from units as instructed.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from units efficiently.
• Prepare and deliver linen and supply bags to assigned locations.
• Conduct regular inspections by walking assigned floors/buildings to collect linens, trash, and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues and lost-and-found items according to company procedures.
• Assist with moving furniture as directed.
• Ensure all work environments remain safe and compliant with safety standards.
• Respond promptly and effectively to guest complaints and assist guests as needed.
• Support inventory counts and supply management as directed.
• Maintain punctuality and a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
• Use all supplies and equipment efficiently to reduce waste.
• Develop positive relationships with guests and team members.
• Provide guest deliveries when required and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the resort.

Experience and Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Strong decision-making, planning, and scheduling skills.
• Competence in reading, writing, and basic math.
• Reliability in punctuality and completing assignments on time.
• Passion for cleanliness and maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Strong work ethic and adaptability to learn and adjust behaviors.
• Availability to work irregular hours as required.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory for some locations.

Physical Requirements
