Housekeeping Attendant

Overview

This position involves working at the motel premises located in Destruction Bay, Yukon Territory, Canada, with all duties performed on-site. Accommodation and meals will be provided during employment. The role requires dedication to maintaining cleanliness and providing excellent guest services within a hotel, motel, or resort setting.

Languages and Education

• Proficiency in English is required.
• Applicants must have completed secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent.

Work Experience

Candidates should have between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds, change sheets, and distribute fresh towels and toiletries.
• Restock linen closets ensuring adequate supply.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, including operating rooms and other areas.
• Manage lost and found items responsibly and report as needed.
• Respond to guests' requests for extra supplies or other assistance promptly.
• Provide basic information about motel facilities to guests.
• Pick up debris, empty trash containers, wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
• Maintain cleanliness of changing rooms and showers.
• Handle customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
