Role Overview

Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort is currently expanding its housekeeping team and offers several full-time positions. We seek motivated, detail-conscious individuals passionate about maintaining high cleaning standards and enhancing guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates are energetic, meticulous, and flourish in collaborative settings.

Key Duties

• Maintain spotless guest rooms by thorough cleaning tasks such as precise bed making, vacuuming floors, and scrupulous bathroom upkeep.
• Complete cleaning assignments efficiently within the designated company hours.
• Work cooperatively with colleagues to achieve daily cleaning goals and smooth operations.
• Follow all safety guidelines and environmental protocols diligently.
• Operate specialized cleaning tools and products safely, with training and equipment supplied.
• Cultivate professional and respectful connections with teammates, guests, and contractors to promote a positive work environment.

Working Hours and Compensation

• Minimum 30 hours weekly
• Starting shifts at 9:00 AM
• Variable roster covering Monday to Sunday
• Hourly wage of NZD 27

Qualifications and Attributes

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness.
• Basic knowledge of safe use and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment; training provided.
• Good physical condition with ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for long durations.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with guests, colleagues, and contractors.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Positive, proactive work ethic and attitude.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
