Housekeeper

Role overview

Spring Wood Lodge is looking for a Housekeeper who takes pride in detail, enjoys keeping spaces clean and safe, and can support a setting that cares for vulnerable people. The role is based in a women’s service for adults aged 18 and above who experience complex emotional and mental health difficulties, often alongside higher-risk behaviours.

In this position, you will help maintain a spotless environment across wards, offices, bedrooms, and visitor areas. You will work alongside the maintenance team to ensure the service remains clean to a high standard and that the environment supports residents, staff, and visitors.

Working pattern

Weekend shifts are part of the rota and will be worked on a monthly schedule.

Key duties

You will contribute to the day-to-day running of the service, help maintain security expectations, and interact professionally with visitors and colleagues. The role also includes supporting a positive culture and carrying out other reasonable tasks suited to the post.

Site information

You will be based at Spring Wood Lodge, 1 Towngate Close, Guiseley, Leeds, LS20 9PQ. The service supports women over 18 who have significant emotional and mental health needs, commonly including personality disorder or severe mental illness. The focus is on active rehabilitation with the aim of helping people move towards sustained discharge.

Experience needed
