About the Role
Join EF International Language Campus in Perth and become a crucial part of our multicultural environment, contributing to the support and cultural exchange experience for international students through our homestay program.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote our homestay program by contacting potential host families via phone calls to explain the benefits of international cultural exchange.
- Represent EF at local community events such as markets, fairs, and festivals to increase awareness and recruit host families.
- Conduct annual house visits with current host families to perform safety checks, update records, and discuss feedback or concerns.
- Distribute promotional flyers in nearby neighborhoods and transit areas to attract new host families.
- Organize and host social events and activities at student residences to foster community among hosts and students.
- Manage room inspections and provide check-in and check-out assistance for student accommodations.
- Meditate roommate conflicts by addressing common challenges of shared living and providing guidance for a harmonious experience.
Candidate Requirements
- A self-motivated, target-oriented individual able to work independently.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and build positive relationships.
- Energetic and outgoing personality.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
Additional Information
Candidates must currently reside in Australia and hold a visa permitting paid employment. EF may offer student residence accommodation as an alternative to monetary compensation if required.
