Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

We are seeking motivated Home Delivery Drivers who take pride in excellent service and enjoy working independently on the road. As the face of our company, you will deliver groceries to customers, ensuring food is in optimal condition while maintaining a positive customer experience. This role involves physical tasks such as safe loading and manual handling, as well as commitment to road safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Load delivery vans safely, applying proper manual handling techniques including lifting heavy items
• Adhere strictly to road safety and safe driving standards during deliveries
• Conduct regular vehicle checks before and after use
• Deliver groceries ensuring products arrive in excellent condition
• Offer outstanding customer service while interacting with customers at their homes
• Assist with store duties when necessary
• Manage your own time efficiently and work independently
• Be flexible to work shifts between 6am and 11pm

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full UK driving license held for a minimum of 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points
• Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experience
• Be punctual and able to meet deadlines effectively
• Maintain a strong awareness of road safety and best driving practices
