Home Delivery Driver

Overview

We are seeking dedicated Home Delivery Drivers to join our team at a leading retail company in Newtown, Wales. This role offers an hourly wage of 13.71 and comes with multiple employee benefits including a 15% staff discount, optional health care plan, and a minimum of 28 days holiday.

Key Responsibilities

• Load delivery vans safely, adhering to proper heavy lifting and manual handling procedures.
• Observe safe driving practices at all times while on the road.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and during shifts.
• Ensure groceries and goods arrive in pristine condition to customers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service as the company's representative.
• Assist store staff with duties when needed.
• Work independently managing time efficiently between shifts that may vary from 6am to 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and passionate attitude towards excellent customer service.
• Be punctual and able to meet deadlines reliably.
• Demonstrate strong awareness and commitment to road safety.
