Health Professional TAE Trainer (National)

Position Overview

Join ASA Academy to deliver healthcare training throughout Australia using both in-person and remote methods. You will engage with a varied group of students, apply your clinical expertise in training facilitation, and support ASA's growth in healthcare education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accredited training programs to health professionals.
• Manage preparation and post-session cleanup for training activities.
• Adjust and perform effectively in challenging or remote training environments.
• Keep precise training documentation.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum of five years clinical practice experience.
• Classroom teaching experience is advantageous.
• Capability to deliver engaging and impactful training sessions.
• Adept at working independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Possession of a valid driver's license, up to date police clearance, and Working with Children check.

• Maintains integrity and confidentiality, especially regarding financial data.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal oversight.
• Proactive in problem solving and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Qualifications

• Current qualifications as an Enrolled Nurse, Paramedic, Ambulance Officer, or Registered Nurse.
• Completion of the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, including Language, Literacy and Numeracy components.
• Registration or eligibility to register with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Registered Nurses and Paramedics.

• Adhere to ASA Academy's training standards.
• Maintain accurate records within the RTO Learning Portal.
