Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Health Care Support Worker to join the team on Ward D3E at the Royal Gwent Hospital. This role involves providing high quality, consistent, and cost-effective care to patients with acute physical and psychological needs within a specialised nursing environment. The position is based onsite in Newport, Wales.

Role Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred health care tailored to patients experiencing physical and psychological acute conditions.
- Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal relationships with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Adapt effectively to the dynamic nature of healthcare settings and changing patient needs.
- Contribute to fostering a motivated and enthusiastic team focused on exceptional care delivery.
- Support the ward’s commitment to achieving clinical excellence and high care standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Essential: Strong communication skills, high motivation, teamwork aptitude, and ability to adapt to change.
- Desirable: Proficient interpersonal skills and basic IT knowledge.
- The ability to speak Welsh is advantageous but not mandatory; candidates fluent in Welsh and/or English are encouraged to apply.
