Role Overview
The Head of Special Projects acts as a crucial support to the founding team, serving as a versatile generalist capable of managing diverse tasks independently. Responsibilities vary widely, from spearheading brand launches in new international territories to establishing internal procedures, preparing board presentations, and resolving supply chain issues. This role entails cross-departmental collaboration to address gaps and develop new business capabilities.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments such as startups, consulting, or similar high-pressure settings.
- Possesses a keen generalist mindset, adept at alternating between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
- Exhibits outstanding organizational and project management skills.
- Demonstrates strong commercial awareness with proficiency in numerical analysis.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the confidence to engage directly with founders and senior partners.
- Takes initiative, exhibits high ownership, and maintains composure during ambiguity and stress.
- Willingness to be based in the London office to collaborate closely with the founding team.
Desirable Qualifications
- Background in consumer goods, FMCG, or the beverage sector.
- Experience with international marketing or launching in new markets.
- Prior exposure to working directly with founders or leadership teams.
