Job description
About GoSats
GoSats is India's leading asset rewards platform, supported by investors like Konvoy, Y Combinator, and Accel. Our users earn rewards in appreciating digital assets through their prepaid card usage and brand voucher redemptions, instead of traditional points that expire. With over 150,000 cards issued and tens of crores in monthly GMV processed, we are expanding from rewards into a full-scale consumer money product offering encompassing cards, payments, and passive wealth creation for millions of Indians.
The Role
This role oversees revenue generation beyond a single stream. Revenue sources include card interchange, gift voucher commerce, loyalty partnerships, and brand agreements involving mutual funds, insurance, and upcoming card initiatives. Previously managed by founders, these revenue streams will now be owned by the new Head of Revenue & Monetisation.
As a hands-on leader, you will manage a small team, liaise directly with the CEO, and be accountable for monthly revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full revenue P&L covering interchange, voucher margins, partnership income, and innovation of new revenue sources.
- Lead commercial negotiations and maintain productive relationships with brand partners, aggregators, banks, and asset firms, optimizing take rates, revenue shares, and cost structures to maximize margins.
- Design and execute pricing and unit economic strategies, including subscription and premium offers, reward-cost balance, cohort contribution margins, and customer lifetime value versus customer acquisition cost.
- Plan and launch new monetisation streams such as mutual funds, investment products, insurance lead generation, and credit services, determining sequence, partners, and financial targets.
- Enhance monetisation of active users, focusing on cross-selling, purchase frequency, and average revenue per user metrics.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 8 to 14 years of experience in consumer fintech or consumer internet monetisation; has directly managed revenue targets in B2C environments involving payments, cards, wealth management, lending distribution, or commerce.
- Has a track record of negotiating complex commercial partnerships, understanding economics related to revenue sharing, interchange splits, co-branding or affiliate deals.
- Familiar with regulated financial products in India such as cards, mutual funds, insurance, or lending distribution, and understands communication requirements with banks and regulated partners.
- Experienced in hands-on startup environments; capable of building revenue models, running experiments independently, and scaling teams accordingly.
- Comfortable analyzing data including cohorts, take rates, and contribution margins without reliance on analysts.
What Sets This Role Apart
- Opportunity to manage multiple active revenue streams at scale while designing the foundational monetisation framework.
- Work with an engaging rewards program supported by proven user retention, monetizing existing engagement rather than manufacturing it.
- High ownership with founder-level influence, participating in board-related discussions and company-wide accountability.
- Competitive fixed salary with significant equity participation, reflecting Series A stage transparency and reward alignment.
