Guest Experience Supervisor

Position Summary

As a Guest Experience Supervisor at Autograph Collection in Doha, Qatar, you will oversee guest check-in procedures including verifying identities, processing payments, assigning rooms, and managing room keys. You will ensure accurate guest accounts setup and enter Marriott Rewards information while matching rates to market codes and documenting exceptions. Handling all forms of payments, balancing receipts, and preparing cashier reports are key tasks. You will also be responsible for securing the bank at shift start and end, obtaining manual authorizations following accounting protocols, and notifying security for any reports of theft.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist management with staff training, performance evaluations, motivation, and coaching.
• Serve as a role model and the primary contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Foster positive workplace relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns attentively.
• Comply with company policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Protect company confidentiality and assets, while adhering to safety standards and training.
• Welcome and address guests' needs with professionalism and courtesy, including assisting guests with disabilities and providing property information.
• Use clear communication, proper phone etiquette, and maintain accurate written records.
• Operate computer and POS systems efficiently and perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and handling light objects up to 10 pounds.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• A minimum of one year in a supervisory role.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
